Kristy has Stage 2 Breast Cancer

Hello everyone. My name is Robin Moore and I am the daughter of Kristy Magee. She is a wife, mother of three and a Nana to three (soon to be 4) grandchildren.
She was recently diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma (DCIS) Breast Cancer and will have to have surgery and radiation which will be a 6 week process, Monday through Friday in Lubbock. She is a Preschool teacher for BSISD but has no more sick days to use, so everyday she has to take off to go to Lubbock she is losing pay. She was also given 30 days from Christmas Day to move out of their house of 15 years. They have found a new place but rent is a little over 4x what they have been used to so that doesn’t help them financially. She is not one to ask for money so I decided to make this GoFundMe to try and help take off some of the stress she is having trying to pay for any medical bills that insurance will not cover, her main bills or gas to get to Lubbock and back everyday. The biopsy and MRI were pretty costly so I can’t imagine what the rest will be. This process is very scary and stressful as is so ANYTHING helps and is GREATLY appreciated.
