Funeral / Cremation / Ceremony Expenses For Lisa

As most of you would already know, our mother passed away suddenly from a heart attack Sunday Morning. She had no insurance, no life insurance, she was a homemaker and had no type of retirement or income to pull from. She was fighting for disability which was never awarded to her before the death occurred. She is a mother and daughter of a Vet, and yet no one out there seems to be able to help with covering these expenses. We, her daughters, consist of single mothers and are already stretched pretty thin. We honestly just don’t know how to make all of this work and give her a celebration, pay the funeral home, and fly two daughters across the U.S so they also have an opportunity to say goodbye to their mother one last time. None of us care to ask anyone for anything, ever. At this point, we all know we need help to make sure our mom and the funeral home cost are taken care of. It’s right after the Holidays, and trust us... we know how difficult that is. Many people have suggested a Go Fund Me option, and have offered to help, so, we would be grateful for anything. Hell, we are grateful for just your thoughts and prayers to get us through this. Our jobs don’t offer a bereavement package, so even the time lost to grieve our mother takes away from our own funds to get this situated. Life sure does have a funny way of working sometimes. Any help at all to give her a proper service would be greatly appreciated. We have no expectations, just humble, grateful hearts at this point. I’m not sure if this sounds and reads as professional or what, but this is where we are in life at the moment. Thanks. We love you all.
