On April 30th, I will be running the KY Derby Festival Mini Marathon (13.1 miles) in support of Kristen and her family!
Our fabulous friend Kristen was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December, 2010. She is fighting like a champ to whip Cancer\'s evil butt and she WILL WIN! But her battle is just beginning and the road may be a long one. She is bravely facing several months of chemo and radiation.
As Kristen and her family focuses on her battle, there will be a decrease in income. I would love to raise what money that I can in order to take even a little bit of stress off of Kristen and Brent. The last thing they need to worry about right now are household bills!
So, I am asking each of you to sponsor my run. $1 or $2 a mile would be wonderful. That would be a total of $13 - $26 a person and all the money goes directly to Kristen and Brent!
