Pinto Family Lost Life Savings After Pipe Collapse

Hello friends, I am starting this GoFundMe page to help two friends, Navy veterans, and genuinely great people, get through an extremely unfortunate and costly circumstance. Recently, Blake and Emily Pinto woke to find raw sewage backing up into their basement. After hoping for a messy but manageable blockage in the pipe, It has been discovered that their main sewage line has collapsed under the city street and they will be liable for the repairs of more than $30,000. After speaking to multiple lawyers, neither the city where they reside (Homewood, IL.) nor their homeowner's insurance have any legal obligation to cover the expenses, which leaves Blake and Emily with an enormous bill that has wiped out their entire life savings and forced them to take out a loan. With a newborn son and a 4-year-old daughter, this family of four needs our help, which is why I’m asking you to join me in donating anything you can in a community effort to try and offset this outrageous dollar amount.
