Care For Kevin
Duty, honor, community. Kevin worked hard to live up to that creed, supporting friends and family in need alongside his parents since childhood. It’s their way of life. Now it’s our turn to help. After surviving years battling Crohn’s disease and several genetic disorders, he’s now hospitalized awaiting a liver transplant. His body is unable to accept a living donor organ and we don’t know how long he will need to wait for a cadaver organ. This transplant facility is 4 hours away from his family (he was hospitalized on the way back from visiting a friend) and he can’t be moved. His parents have been traveling to be with him, to manage his ongoing medical conditions that need daily care, creating a financial hardship due to costs associated with lodging, gas and other travel expenses. Every bit helps. So if you’ve been lucky enough to get some help along the way yourself, please pay it forward for this amazing family who gives so much, so unselfishly, every day. Every bit helps to defray the costs for a family still working hard to manage years of medical costs.
