How many people enjoy living life as much as Janet? She has friends all over the world and, no wonder. She's the life of any party.
Diagnosed with Stage III ovarian cancer two years ago at 43, cancer barely slowed Janet down. She continued working and enjoying a busy social life. She even fell in love. And after nine months of chemo, Janet experienced a reprieve that has lasted more than a year.
But now the cancer is back. Luckily, with good medical care, her doctors caught this early. She will go back into chemo for at least six more months. She will have two rounds of deductibles to pay since her insurance year ends in August.
I spoke with Janet and asked her what her biggest stressors are. She listed three big concerns, all of which can be helped with some $.
1. debt that she hasn't paid off from past deductibles and co-pays
2. fear of more debt in this new round of treatment
3. feeling overwhelmed by taking care of her house
Because I know I'm not the only one who wants to reduce Janet's stress level as she goes through chemo, I set up this fund.
