Tragic accident, help us to save our dogs life!

First of all, Merry Christmas to you and yours. This is not the way that we planned on celebrating Christmas. As some of you might already know, Jake and I got in a terrible car accident on our way home from California to Michigan. We got hit by a van that was going 80mph in the middle of an intersection in a small town of 800 people somewhere in Texas. Jake and I are beyond lucky that we are okay but unforntuanly we lost our beloved dog and family member Lani an hour after the impact. We tried everything we could in our power to save her but we did not have the resources available to save her life due to the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon in a small town. We knew Buddha was in a lot of pain and needed medical attention as well, so we took him to the vet. The vet immediately referred us to a trauma veterinarian clinic where he is currently being treated. The only reason he is still with us today is because he had a major $10,000 surgery and is in amazing care of the veterinarian trauma facility's ICU. Unfortunately, his vet bills keep adding up and we are now at almost $19,000. We want to be able to provide him with the intensive care for as long as he needs it, so we started this Go-fund-me page for a better chance of his survival. Every little bit helps!
