Hey everyone, last month I was lucky enough to attend a reunion of baseball players coached by Rich Merchant. Merch coached me in 1984 and 1985 for Voigt's Arco, and he was hands down the best coach, and one of the best all around teachers, I've ever had. Clearly, many other players shared my experience as there were dozens and dozens of appreciative former players sharing stories and paying their respects to Merch. It was a fantastic afternoon, and it reminded me what an amazing thing it is to have the commitment, energy and patience to be a great coach. Since the reunion it's come to my attention that Merch is having a bit of a rough time of things, and I wanted to create this page to see if I could maybe help him out a bit.
