EMERGENCY TRUCK FIRE TOTAL LOSS! SOS 4 JO!

This is an emergency call for help for our dear friend and road warrior Jo! Traveling south from Portland to Northern California this evening 12/23 when her Chevy truck and home on wheels/mobile studio caught on fire with her and her dogs inside. Jo was lucky to have enough time to grab her wallet and her two dogs Westley and Buttercup and escape before the entire truck went up in flames. Jo was en route to work in California where she would have been living out of her truck as she has on and off for years, with most of her valuables, camera, work bench and metalsmithing tools and camera, as well as a lot of her personal vintage collection of clothes, are destroyed. Jo is one of the most independent and determined women I know. She is an artist, many of you might recognize her from her brand Ozma Autonomy. A dear friend, and a true ambassador of life lived like you don’t have a tomorrow. Jo needs our help getting back into a vehicle as her livelihood depends on her mobility and living on the road. While there were many irreplaceable belongings that have been lost, let’s do our best to get this woman back on her feet. Put your money where your mouth is. This is what the Christmas spirit is about. Picking each other up and coming to the rescue like we could only hope be done for us.
