In Need Of A Helping Hand

Okay so for those who know my story, you know why I’ve created a GoFundMe. For those who don’t, please bare with me. This past April, my fiancée and I got our little place together. Everything was going great! Work was good, life was finally looking upward for us. We decided since we were finally on our own, that I should sell my gas guzzler of a truck, for something more realistic. So sure enough I sold the truck to a buddy of mine. I had about $3,000 saved from the truck at one point with a goal of $5,000 for a down payment on a new/used car. A couple weeks later, I was laid off from my job. I lost my mind. Everything we just worked so hard for, was down the drain. I struggled to find work, collecting unemployment only to pay our bills. Our life was at a complete standstill. The money I had from the sale of the truck, we had no choice but to use for bills. This meant putting off a new car until I found some means of work. For the next six months, I was out of work. Stress, anxiety, and depression were a daily struggle for me. Finally, I decided to apply to UPS as a package car driver. I got the job, but with no means of transportation to and from. It’s a daily struggle to get to work, and to get home from work, but I haven’t missed a day. I’ve been saving every penny I can manage to save, but the bills keep piling up. Every dollar that’s been saved, has been needed for yet another bill, therefore making it near impossible to save for a car.
