Well it has been an eventful few months since we left Seattle. Denied the unemployment my employer of 16 years had promised me, and unable to find work in Port Townsend, we were forced to sell our beloved Junie Moon before the boatyard took possession of her. Because we were not able to make this month’s storage payment, the boat would have become the property of the port. Many tears were shed as we said goodbye to our old wooden girl, which was much more than a home to us for 4 1/2 years. We sold her to someone who will love and cherish her as we did, so that is some comfort, but it was still very hard to leave the only real comfort we have had during this whole life changing ordeal. Through the Grace of God we were able to get a decent coach to call home, she’s no wooden boat, but she will keep us warm and dry for now. If we can find a place to park her we can establish residency. We have been unable to get James to a doctor even though we qualified for Medicaid as we are still residents of Seattle. It’s not something we really even thought about until we called to make James an appointment here in Port Townsend and were denied because our address says Seattle on it. We were literally told Jefferson county has enough problems taking care of their own people and that we needed to see a doctor in Seattle even though we had no transportation to get there. So our plan was to sell our boat and use that money to establish residency where we were at. Seattle is no place to live in an RV. Alas, when all was said and done and out of desperation, we were only able to sell Junie Moon for pennies on the dollar from what we paid for her, leaving us very little money for a coach or anything else. Again out of desperation we sent three coaches emails with complete lowball offers and the one we ended up with is the one that answered. Unfortunately it took all the money we had to buy the coach and here we are in quite a bit of a predicament. We are completely out of money and tonight will be our last night staying in the campground we were able to find after we bought our coach a week ago today. We still hope to be able to somehow get enough money to put the coach in a park and establish residency somewhere other than Seattle. We found a nice cheap place in Port Angeles which is a lot bigger city than Port Townsend and has much more amenities, a decent hospital, jobs, all the stuff we need to survive. Please help us reestablish ourselves in an area we can eventually afford to live, so we can finally get James some medical help and get our lives back to a calmer spot . We have been blessed in so many ways, and continue to be thankful for the love we experience from so many caring souls. It is only through the Grace of God and the love from our friends and family that we have made it this far. Thank you for any help you can give...
