Lindsey Goff is a 29 year old soon-to-be mother currently battling a rare and complex form of cancer called Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. Lindsey’s spine, ribs, chest, pancreas, and liver are riddled with inoperable tumors and she recently suffered a compressed fracture in vertebrae (T11) due to weakening of her spine caused by bone marrow deterioration. To ensure the maximum health and well-being of her daughter while in the womb, Lindsey has made the sacrifice to endure the pain and undergo the least invasive treatments until the baby is delivered; at which point doctors will administer aggressive radiation and chemotherapy treatments to control the tumors and allow Lindsey and her fiancée Josh to raise their sweet daughter. Time is not on their side, as this form of cancer can progress rapidly and the treatment necessary to achieve remission will create an unimaginable financial burden on their young family. Pending Lindsey’s physical condition, Josh and Lindsay are set to be married on January 4th, 2020; a joyous occasion for many but perhaps a chance for this courageous couple to celebrate their lives together no matter what tomorrow brings. My buddies and I are sharing their story in hopes of raising as much money as possible to alleviate the financial hardship of current and future medical bills; so that Lindsey and Josh can devote their energy to raising their daughter and beginning their new life together.
