Please help my mom get back on her feet

My mom Luz Reyes, was detained by ICE 8 ½ months ago, and now she desperately needs our help. My mom has lived in the United States for more than 33 years. She has 5 children (including myself) and five grand-children all of whom are United States citizens. On December 16, 2019, my mom was brought into court to decide if she was to be deported. Miraculously, the judge heard my testimony, and our prayers were answered, and two days later my mom was released. Her case is still subject to appeal. After 8 ½ months of waking up in a cell, and considered a criminal for not being born in this country, she was allowed to go free. She spent Mother’s Day in her cell as well as her 56th birthday. Two of her 5 grandchildren (all US citizens) were born during her incarceration. Her mother passed away leaving her with no parents. It was a rough year, but we all made it through. Now, my mom is suffering from severe trauma. She doesn’t know how to feel, how to act, or where her place in the world is. Freedom is now foreign to her. She has been damaged by the process and the experience. It is heartbreaking to us. We are trying to raise money to get my mom a therapist along with helping her get back on her feet. Along with helping her feel like a member of a free and caring world again. She has always been the rock of our family, providing for all of our needs. Please help us now to help her.
