Madison Wiedl - McKay

Hello all! Brief synopsis, one month ago Madison received a diagnosis of liver failure. Our hope was with appropriate treatment her liver could regenerate enough for her to have a tolerable quality of life or proceed to transplant. Unfortunately this has not been the course. She has been hospitalized two times for almost a month in total time. She was able to be home for a week in between but had a major set back. Unfortunately all of this time in the hospital has been without insurance. However, starting in January she will have coverage. Meanwhile, my mom and dad and her husband nick are all maxing out on their PTO and when Madison is able to go home, she will need 24 hour care. Everyone is working on switching work schedules and coordinating, but it has come to our worst case scenario as a family that there is no way we can continue to miss work, pay hospital bills and maintain some sanity. We are asking for any type of donation, whether it be here or in time that you may have available to help with Madison when she gets home so mom, dad and nick can go to work. Madison has been so brave and focused on what she can control and contribute to her healing.. Please continue to pray and sending positives vibes for Madison’s journey.
