Hi everyone. This is an update on David's (Buford's ) condition. As some of you may or may not know he was diagnosed 2 years ago with Parkinson's disease. From then till now he has had dozens of Dr appointments, trial and error with many different medications but have had no luck in seeing any improvements. Parkinson's is a very cruel disease which in David's case shows a tremor in his left arm and with most people it comes with depression, anxiety and slowed motor skills. To make matters worse, they recently went back up to Minnesota to see another Neurologist and they were told since David has not responded to the meds along with some other tests he performed that the diagnosis is Lewy Body Dementia. Even more cruel than Parkinson's in my opinion. David was forced to leave the job he loved well before retirement age so him and his wife Nancy can't afford to visit family and friends up North as often as they would like to and that includes our Bandit Run family all over the US and Canada. David really enjoys being referred to as Buford and has totally had a blast playing that role. Just know that he is the same person but has developed a disability and he loves all of you. They are doing everything the Dr suggested and will attend as many functions as they can. Donations will go to them in their time of need to help with bills and for them to possibly be with all of us on the bandit run this text year.
