Marlo Rivera Fund For Surgery And Medical Expenses

Two week ago I found out I had RCC(Renal Cell Carcinoma) there is a mass in my kidney and it needs to be removed by way of a surgical robotic nephrectomy. I will be in the hospital a couple of days and will have to be on short term disability from 6-8 weeks, where I will not be able to work. My surgery is very expensive and I'm sure my hospital stay as well, I will have to travel to and from Bullhead City to Phoenix for post operation care and treatment if necessary. I have to come up with a large portion of my share of deductibles and copays prior to my surgery which will be March 10th at the Scottsdale Shea Advanced Medical and Cancer center. I haven't really shared my situation other than with my family and close friends, I was in shock and the thought of all of this is scary for me and my family, when I think of my boys my heart hurts for them, I know I need to do this and get healthy to be here for my family, but it has been a huge scary worrisome time for myself and my family. The stress of all of this has weighed heavily on my mind and so with the encouragement of some good friends I decided to create this GoFundMe to help lesson the financial burden that has come upon us so we can focus on my surgery and my recovery. Me not being able to work on top of medical bills will be financially difficult without the help of all of you. So I first of all ask for your prayers for myself and my family, especially my boys and I humbly ask for your help in anyway you can wether it be by donating what you can spare or helping spread the word and sharing my story with others.
