https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12692099/ Hello! 5YEARS OF TREATMENTS
FINAL PROGNOSIS ENUCLEATION
PROSTHETIC EYE NEEDED
HELP TO RECOVER
I want to bring awareness of the extremely rare infection ACANTHAMOEBA KERATITIS because the only good prognosis is early diagnosis and aggressive treatment. Which as of now no regimin EXISTS! It is hit or miss with a large percentage of patients needing cornea transplant.  ALSO SINCE THE AK CAN PHASE INTO A DORMANT CYST FOR TEN YEARS WHEN IT’S ATTACKED THE CHANCE OF RELAPSE IS SIGNIFICANT. It took 5 months to diagnose me and the damage was done. Parasitic amoeba feeding on my nerves and reproduces by binary fission. Once it has a host it begins to multiply by the double and feed constantly. The pain is horrific and continuous. Especially when there are so many after five months of thriving while doctors tell me I shouldn’t be in pain. Accusing me of telling a story when I was crying for help. Parasites were eating the nerves in my cornea. Which have the most nerves of anywhere in the body. And yes you feel every tiny one. But the pain is big. Worst pain I’ve ever endured. Hands down. The treatment for these monsters are and have to be toxic. Also one of the meds aren’t available in the US so they couldn’t get it or administer it. That took another week to come by mail. The treatment had to be given every hour on the hour every day. For a minimum of 6 weeks before you can reduce from 24 to 12x a day. I had two transplants.

ZERO CLINICAL STUDIES On patients

I am a 46 yo mother of 4, g-mama of 3. I was attacked 14 years ago and my retina was detached. 6 surgeries later it was fixed to where I got my vision back in my left eye. 5 years ago I the same eye I contracted acanthamoeba keratitis which blinded me within 3 days and it took docs 5 months to diagnose me. By then the damage was so severe I had two corneal transplants that my body rejected. The amoeba didn’t die they formed a cyst and in a weakened state made it into my nasal cavity and spinal cord and I then had Granulotomus Amoebic Encephalitis. I was on my death bed and God saved me through prayer and a faith healer. In April 2020 a freak accident or demonic attack I ended back in the hospital needing emergency surgery because my transplant came out and my eye was shattered. Friday 9/11/20 my specialist told me he has to remove my eye as it is dying and he can’t save it. My surgery consult is next week in another city. I lost my home. Both my jobs and all my vehicles one of them I lost in Harvey the hurricane. I can’t work. I am blind in my left eye and always will be. My children are scattered with family and I can’t help or support their welfare or well being. After I get this surgery I can go back to work hopefully within 6-8 weeks of recovery but can’t lift more than 15 pounds for at least 6 mo to a year. I am so ready to put this behind me but I am at rock bottom. I need help so desperately and this is very hard to ask for help as I’ve always been independent and worked hard for everything I had. I have nothing anymore. I have Jesus. And people who love me. Please anything will help even a dollar if you can. If not please share. Thank you for listening and God bless.l
