Getting back on the road

The last few months have been a struggle after being made homeless by an ex roommate and I recently lost my barely part time job since I currently have no transportation to work. I couldn’t make ends meet at my previous job so I was unable to afford to repair my brakes right away. About a month ago my brakes completely failed and my car has been unable to be driven and it’s my only means of getting back on my feet since I’m job hunting so I can finally get my own apartment. I’m limited with jobs within walking distance and don’t know what to do at this point. My car is a 2009 Ford Edge and I need brake pads, a brake line, front rotors and a caliper. I have friends that are able to do the repairs for me I just have no way to afford the parts since I lost my job the day before thanksgiving. I want to start my own cleaning business but I need my vehicle to do anything at this point. I haven’t been able to make it to doctor appointments or anything else and I have no one that is able to take me anywhere and I really can’t afford uber. Not having my vehicle on the road is majorly effecting my life and I would really love to start getting back on my feet before the holidays. I have even applied for small loans but I have next to no credit. Making a go fund me was the last thing I wanted to do. Any help would be hugely appreciated beyond words.
