After 4 1/2 years of bravely enduring her fight with brain cancer, Carin Decker passed away on Sunday morning, December 1, 2019. She was at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Carin exemplified the Christ-like attributes of faith, hope, charity, devotion, love, compassion, service, kindness, humility, patience, long suffering, and meekness. She loved her husband, children and her family dearly and would have stayed 50 more years if she was allowed. She miraculously lived to witness two great milestones in her family. The first was their oldest son, Jackson, leaving on a mission to Mexico City. The second was seeing all of their children (Jackson, Bayley, Neilson and Lucy) being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Even though we knew this day would eventually come, we mourn her sweet presence, her beautiful smile and her quiet strength. We know that Carin is now free from pain and limitations.....dancing, laughing and talking her way though heaven. She will be missed by so many.
If you would like to donate towards funeral costs, mission costs for Jackson and other such expenses, we appreciate and thank you tremendously!
Carin's funeral will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11 am at the LDS Church Building-7200 Duncan Ln, Boise, ID 83714. A viewing at the same building will be Friday from 6-8 pm. Thank you!
