Final Preparations For Iris (Abuela Liri) Gonzalez

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother, Iris Gonzalez (1930-2019), or as we called her, Abuela Liri. Iris was a strong woman. Two time cancer survivor. Mother of 3. Strong-willed and was always true to God. She passed away peacefully the morning of December 3, 2019, in the company of her daughter, two grandchildren and lifetime friend. Even in her final days she was full of life and we will never forget her love and wisdom.
Iris had all of her preparations made to be put to rest in Puerto Rico, but has since moved to Dallas, Texas, where some of the benefits do not transfer over. We are asking for help on the preparations to her final resting place to ease the burden on the family.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amorosa madre y abuela, Iris Gonzales (1930-2019), o como la llamamos, Abuela Liri. Iris era una mujer fuerte. Dos veces sobreviviente de cáncer. Madre de 3 hijos de carácter fuerte y siempre fiel a Dios. Falleció pacíficamente la mañana del 3 de diciembre de 2019, en compañía de su hija, dos nietos y una amiga de por vida. Incluso en sus últimos días estaba llena de vida y nunca olvidaremos su amor y sabiduría.
Iris hizo todos sus preparativos para descansar en Puerto Rico, pero desde entonces se mudó a Dallas, Texas, donde algunos de los beneficios no se transfieren. Estamos pidiendo ayuda en los preparativos para su lugar de descanso final para aliviar la carga de la familia.
