Imagine, imagine you are walking your dog. Imagine as you are crossing the street at a crosswalk, a car smashes into your dog and you. You hit the pavement and right away you you look to your dog to see if he is okay. Your dog is in agony. You look up and you see the car about twenty feet ahead of you, the driver gets out of his car, looks at his bumper, then looks at you and your dog splayed on the pavement, and then simply gets back into his car and drives away. It was a hit and run.
That is what happened to my little sister Ashley and her dog Tyson last night.
Luckily there were some solid citizens near by who got in their car and chased the driver to take note of his license plate number. Luckily, some neighbors took my sister and her broken dog to safety. Luckily, my sister is okay, however her sweetheart Tyson isn't. His back leg is shattered.
Unfortunately, my little sister does not have the money to have an orthopedic surgery for his leg as it can be very expensive. And the process the make the driver pay can take months or even years before any sort of justice could be served. And even then, dogs are not considered life but mere property in the eyes of the law. Tyson is in pain and euthanasia was almost what had to happen. But it would be a shame to lose life over money. Especially since Tyson is still young, healthy and happy. So, this brings us to GoFundMe as a last resort. Even the slightest bit helps, anything helps and it is greatly appreciated!
Let's save Tyson!
