The Story of a Three Year Old with SMA1

In this campaign, we are collecting donations for a new state-of-the-art electric wheelchair.
Scewo is a brand new technology.
https://scewo.ch/en/
Their motto is ‘Say yes to boundless freedom.’
- The large wheels effortlessly master cobblestones and forest paths. Even if the driver doesn’t have any upper body stability!
- The stair climbing function opens the doors to new possibilities. With this mode you can climb steps made of various materials.
- You can adjust the seat depth, back support, foot and arm supports to suit your needs, in no time.
Abris was born on July 31st, 2016.
When he was 8 months old, he was diagnosed with Type 1 SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), the most severe form of the disease.
The doctors gave us a 20% chance that he would live to see his 1st birthday.
Since that prediction, a lot has happened in our lives.
Once Abris was diagnosed, he started the only available therapy at the time called Spinraza.
Luckily, he responded very well to it.

And this year we celebrated his 3rd birthday.
Abris has daily physiotherapy, hydrotherapy two times a week, and uses special equipment for everyday tasks. These therapies and equipment help him progress and allow him a better quality of life.
In order to continue these expensive therapies and interventions, we need your help supporting our foundation.

Supporting our foundation will help him live a better life.
He needs strength for this journey. He needs a chance. He needs your help!
Together we can give him a wonderful life.
