In July 2019, my sister Hannah was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer at the age of 26. She had a tumor the size of a nerf football enveloping her right ovary, and immediately underwent surgery to remove both ovaries and begin chemo.
Hannah is a kind, loving person who has dedicated her life to working with children. She has begun a career as an early childhood educator, and unfortunately she has been unable to work since beginning her chemo treatments. Her immune system is wiped out and spending her days caring for young kids, especially at the height of cold and flu season, has been deemed too risky for her health.
Unfortunately after several months of treatment, Hannah has exhausted her financial resources. Though her coworkers kindly donated to her, and state resources were contacted, she is in desperate need of more financial assistance.
In order to offset her cost of living, as well as help with the costs of certain treatments, we have started this fund.
