Send Jimmy To Japan

My name is Jessica May and I am raising money to send my little brother to Japan.

Jimmy would love to join his classmates and teacher this June on a two week trip to Japan. He has been a member of the Japan club at Cupertino High School in California for a few years now and nothing makes him happier!

Unfortunately, because of our current financial situation Jimmy will not be able to attend the trip without YOU'RE help. So if you can PLEASE donate whatever you can it would be endlessly appreciated. Even $5 can help send Jimmy on the most memorable, educational, life-changing experience of his young life!

Traveling abroad has been proven by researchers to be consistently beneficial for high school students. Such experiences have a huge impact on a student's life by expanding their horizons and changing the way they see the world. Traveling and seeing the world can not only have a profound impact on a young person's life but it can give them that competitive edge for college admission and it doesn't hurt to add on their resume either. During their experience, they are able to grow as individuals and receive a global education. Global education is becoming increasingly important during this time of culturally interconnected businesses of today.

Jimmy is a Junior at Cupertino High School and will be applying next year to UCLA to study engineering. He has maintained an average 3.8 GPA throughout high school and has always been a hardworking student. He has a passion for Japanese culture and has high hopes that learning a different language will help him succeed in his future career.
