Hello friends, I wanted to reach out on behalf and Charlie and my furry son Mac, he has been very sick lately. Currently he is in the VCA emergency hospital and has been staying there a few nights for some diagnostics and supportive care . Our sweet fur baby needs some extra support! Our vet bills so far have exceeded our bank accounts and are growing still everyday. So far we know that he has pneumonia, as well as some soft tissue thickening in his intestines (not clearly identified yet). On his ultra sound they discovered some blebs/lesions on his liver and swelling in lymph nodes. Yesterday they aspirated the cells so they could diagnose them further. Mac is currently on oxygen and on Meropenem, one of the strongest antibiotics they can give a dog. All of these interventions and procedures have been helping our vet bill climb to extreme heights. We are currently looking at around $10,000, and we know we’re not finished, we’re not sure how much longer he’ll need to be hospitalized or if he will need surgery. If you know Mac, or even if you don’t know him but know how much we love him, we’d be grateful for any sort of contribution for our boy. If you can’t contribute money, please send him some healing vibrations he needs all the healing energy he can get! We are planning some other fundraising events possibly a restaurant/brewery fundraiser night, as well as a “Park party for our pup” fundraiser- more details to come on those.
