This by far has been the most devastating time in the lives of so many. Late Halloween night the lives of 2 of our most beloved were taken in an automobile accident. My Brother, Anthony Vargas, 36 alongside his Daughter Oriana, 14 were killed instantly upon impact. Our world's are shattered and our hearts are broken. Oriana was beautiful and kind. She would have did anything for her Brother's and Sister. Dare anyone speak ill of them, she was the first to stand and protect. Her relationship with her Father was unmatched. He was her hero, he was her safety net from the sad ugly world she was placed in, in her short 14 years of life. Anthony was her laughter, her heart, her time to let go and be a kid. Anthony was exactly the same. He was absolutely in love with his kids. He was the man who would do anything to see them smile. He worked day and night to make sure they had everything they needed and more. I know of no one with the heart he has. The only time he was selfish was when it came to himself. If it was in the best interest of someone else he'd do it, if it kept someone from hurting or stressing he'd do it, if it helped anyone in anyway he'd do it. If it affected him negatively in anyway, he helped. The most selfless man we know is gone and his beautiful daughter is with him. Those 2 were inseparable and will forever remain the same. The final steps of planning their services have been exhausting and rushed, but it took us down memory lane and has brought laughter back to our home.
