Introducing the 1st Annual FTK (For the Kids) Back to School Extravaganza! Allee Salon and Spa, along with other community partners, are putting together an event focused on providing much needed back to school supplies along with haircuts to local school age children.
Haircuts are being donated by our four lovely licensed and trained hair stylists at Allee Salon and Spa.
However, in order to buy the necessary school supplies for the children who attend, we will need YOUR HELP.
In 2018, the average family spent nearly $125 on school supplies alone. This does not include clothes, shoes, hair care, lunch money, etc. In addition to the climbing cost to our families, the average TEACHER spent nearly $149 of their own money. We all know just how underpaid teachers are, right!
We can make a difference right now, but we need your help! 100% of all donations will go towards purchasing the basic school supplies needed by all K-12 kids. This includes, pens, pencils, markers, erasers, notebooks, etc.
In addition the hair care and school supplies, the FTK event will provide much needed access to local children's support programs, along with free access to bounce houses, snow cone machines, and more. This is the 1st year of an event we hope truly makes an impact in the lives of needy families. Thanks so much for taking the time to consider our cause!
