The Middletons have been charged with various federal counts of Assault, Obstruction of Justice/Congress, Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds; based on their presence at the January 6th, 2021 U.S. Capitol incident in Washington D.C. Some of the charges being alleged at this time carry penalties as high as 20 years in Federal prison.
The funds raised through this account will be exclusively used to pay for their defense as they navigate their way through the Federal criminal justice system. This is arguably the largest criminal investigation and prosecution in the history of the Department of Justice. As many may understand, it can be an enormous burden to defend oneself in light of the power and resources of the Federal Government.
Our law firm is based in Dallas, Texas and we have agreed to help the Middletons through this overwhelming process. The funds will only be used for billable hours and expenses directly related to the defense of the Middletons.
