Meet Jess, Eliza and Daisy. Some of you may remember this lovely young Doncaster family from 2019. Jess at 32 years old, was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) and we launched a fundraiser to give Jess and her girls some financial support during her treatments.
For those that don't know TNBC is incredibly aggressive and unpredictable or as we prefer to say " a complete bas***d."
In the last 2 years Jess has shown incredible determination and courage and being the fighter she is, was back working and enjoying life as a Mummy to her 2 beautiful girls. Tragically 2 weeks ago our hearts were broken as Jess received those dreaded words "Your cancer is back and we can't save your life." She is 34.
She wants to live, she wants to see her 2 girls grow up, turn 18, fall in love. This won't happen.
The reality is TNBC has won. It's robbed Jess and her girls of all the opportunities we take for granted. We can't beat the disease but we won't give up on our girls.
There is no cure for Jess but this won't stop her from fighting to be here for as long as she can. We as her friends will do everything we can to give her as long as possible. We have one card left to play - new cancer trials, to hopefully extend her life longer than the few months she has been given.
Life insurance has never been an option as Jess has also spent all her life battling severe Crohn's disease. Financially we are hoping with help and kindness from friends and strangers, we can raise as much as possible to ease current money pressures on Jess but more importantly allow Eliza and Daisy to make as many memories as possible with their Mummy. It will also provide Jess with great comfort knowing that some of money will be able to be used for her girls' future.
We are all eternally thankful for any support, shares or donations received and hope you realise the massive difference you will have made to Jess and her girls lives.
