:: NOTE ::
Thank you all for your amazing support! We've already reached the goal, and that is fantastic. You are more than welcome to continue to contribute if you'd like. At the same time, we want to wait to raise our goal until we have a specific financial need we're asking you to help us reach. In the mean time, please continue to pray, read updates on CaringBridge, and did I say PRAY?
:: STORY ::
Our dear friend Mitchel Dickison was diagnosed with cancer in late October 2019. While it is still a waiting game to determine exactly what kind of cancer and an exact treatment plan, we know a mass tumor developed in his femur and has deteriorated his femur and is now growing on the outside of the bone. You can read the latest updates on their CaringBridge Journal.
Mitchel and Katie believe in a mighty, good, merciful, and more than enough God. First and foremost, please join us in relentless petitions and hallelujahs for them.
As Mitch and Katie begin their journey we know that it will involve significant medical costs, time away from work, and much more beyond the expenses of daily life. Many of you have already supported Mitch and Katie through getting a "Fight like a Mitch / Faith > Fear" wristband--keep it up! If you haven't seen those yet, you can find a link on the "Ways To Help" page of their CaringBridge.
We don't yet know all that his journey will entail, and yet we are beginning this GoFundMe now. Our hope is that the community can surround Mitch and Katie in this time of need so that their focus can remain on Mitch's treatment and their family, rather than the financial impact of the decisions they make. Many of you have already asked if there is a way to donate money to help them -- this is it! For others, you may have stumbled upon this page in any number of ways.
Please prayerfully consider helping Mitch and Katie however you can, through prayer, meals (see the MealTrain link on their CaringBridge page), FAITH > FEAR wristbands, or direct donations.
Thank you for the support!
Sincerely,
Mitchel and Katie's Community Group
