My Mom's Road To Recovery...

These past couple weeks have been a living nightmare for my family. My mom went to the doctor for what she thought was bronchitis to find out she has lung cancer (small cell carcinoma). If that wasn't a sucker punch to the stomach..The next day after being released from the hospital, she had a MASSIVE stroke while she and my brother were eating dinner. From that night on the situation just got worse and worse. She is paralyzed on the whole right side of her body. She can't say more than about 4 words due to the expressive aphasia. She cannot swallow...and the healing prognosis is unknown. This truth is...life hit our family hard! The reality of the situation is overwhelming. Faith in the lord has never been more comforting than now. My brother and I thought we could handle all of her affairs on our own...she will never be able to be a court reporter again and the bills and future costs for skilled nursing and rehab are stacking up. If anyone can help we would really appreciate it! I've never done one of these but I'm out of options. My mom is a beautiful soul who deserves the best rehabilitation we can find...all I pray for is the chance to have a conversation with her again♥️ My husband Steve Wemmer is going to help me manage these donations and get my mom what she needs.
