"Come Home! Your House is on Fire!"

I have known Trent and Sue for more than 18 years... long enough to know that they are two of the most giving and genuine people that I’ve ever met! Several years ago, they turned their passion of serving others into their business of helping others meet their health goals through their massage practices. After building their clientele for 30 years between them, they decided to move thousands of miles away to Mesa, AZ. Before moving from Fargo, ND, they gave away most of their possessions. Driving a 26ft. U-Haul with all their remaining “worldly” possessions, they arrived in the 100+ degree heat of June 2019. A 90 day process of licensing for their new business and purchasing a new “mini” home. They opened their doors to their new home and businesses for the First 30 Days. To make new friends and neighbors, while also lending their massage skills to their new clients. Contacted by their new neighbors on 10/29/2019 at work with the phrase no one ever wants to here: “Come Home! Your House Is On Fire!” Arriving home to 24 firefighters and many Emergency Vehichles they watched as their dream home vanished under first flames then a tsunami of H2O. 95% ASHES, 5% of the Remaining Items Tried to be cleaned, but it is surprising the toxic smells that find their way into everything at 1000 degrees. I spoke with TRENT the next day. He had the clothes on his back and his phone! His wife, SUE, the same. I know their ultimate goals were always to simplify their lives and get rid of their possessions. Some things they lost just can’t be replaced. Losing everything to fire has almost got to be like living in a War Zone. Warm, comfy bed - gone. Cookware collected over memories and recipes - gone. Groceries, socks, undergarments - gone. Favorite book or cologne...Yep Gone! Family Bibles & Heirlooms - Gone, Gone, Gone.
