Hi guys this is Wade, Ladd’s older brother. Ladds Jeep was just stolen Saturday evening, October 26th, near Pack Forest in Eatonville. It had been parked along with several other vehicles at the UW pack forest gate and he made his way out to go deer hunting. He came back to all the cars that were there when he first arrived, except his... The keys were NOT left in it so whoever did this must have known a thing or two about how to hot wire vehicles. Ladd worked very hard to save up, and earn every penny for what he would call his pride and joy. He spent countless hours of hard work during his summers and days after school to save up and buy his first rig! After posting on social media, asking people to keep a eye out for it, as his jeep was pretty unique, and about what had happened, a family friend had spotted it on a side road on the way to church. Unfortunately it looked like a completely different vehicle after it was found. It was trashed. They had completely parted out his whole jeep. They took off his front and rear off-roading bumpers, his winch, all 4 of his mud terrain wheels and tires, hi lift jack, roof rack, light bar, LED headlights, and stereo. Then they had the audacity to spray paint it, and fill the back seats full to the brim with garbage. After all of of that they had abandoned it as the motor ran “floored” continuously with a huge rock placed on the gas peddle until the engine blew up.
I will never understand how some people can do this. Thank you to everyone that helped look for it. He has insurance but they will only cover so much. He will pick himself up and hold his chin up and not get bitter cause that’s how he rolls. He’s doing good. He deserves the world and his hard work will not go unnoticed. anything helps and will get him back on the road in no time! thank you all, God bless.
