Corey Ryan Mallett Memorial Fund

We are the parents and brother of Ryan Mallett. On October 16, 2019 our son was driving home from work and pulled his vehicle into the parking lot of Capitol Plaza near McDonald’s and Walgreens in Austin, Texas. He exited his vehicle and was maliciously struck by a person driving what appeared to be a gray or silver 3/4 ton or 1 ton pick up truck. The driver fled the scene of this horrible crime leaving our son to die. At some point a good Samaritan discovered Ryan and called 9-1-1. Ryan fought for his life for 3 days until he succumbed from massive brain trauma and other severe injuries. Our family chose to help another family or families in need through organ donation. Ryan leaves behind a young son, Oliver, age 4. All proceeds from this campaign will go to Oliver, our beautiful grandson.
