Hi Friends, We'll be super blunt: we don't like asking for money - for ourselves, at least. We love fundraising for schools, candidates for office, awesome charities. But we're not great at asking for ourselves.
(If you haven't heard about what's going on, I've been diagnosed with cancer. There's up-to-date information at my CaringBridge website .)
But: we need some help. I have great health insurance, but even with great insurance, I'm almost certain to hit my $2,500 out-of-pocket maximum this year and next. We're cutting back in a lot of areas, but combined with the trips to Seattle and other expenses preparing our home for the healing needed in the months to come, some additional cash on hand would be incredibly helpful.
For those of you not able to chip-in, please don't sweat it. We know we've got your love and support, and that is MUCH appreciated.
