My Baby Brother Butch Roach also known to many as Doug Roach, has requested I reach out to tell his story. Please read share if possible. Before completing his education as planned, Butch was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident at 18 yo. He suffered severe brain injury as well as paralysis of his arm. Due to the long lasting effects of his accident, his job availabilities have been limited and despite this he has been able to scrape by with umpiring, scheduling and also refereeing many other sports in San Diego County. He has been blessed and blessed with his wife, 2 Daughters, and three Grandchildren that he adores! Butch was diagnosed 4.5 years ago with bladder cancer, and had been attending all recommended treatments. Very recently it was discovered that despite the years of treatment, the cancer had rapidly spread throughout his body. He is currently 55 years old, very sick, at home with Hospice Care, and concerned there is not enough funds to have a funeral. He is very grateful for all of the prayers and love sent to him. Butch also requested if any excess is raised above the actual cost of final expenses be donated to Charity.
