Help Melek Fight Breast Cancer

Hello, My name is Melek Gunes, I arrived to the United States a year ago through the lottery program where we were able to obtain our green card, for myself, my spouse and two sons. When we arrived to the U.S everything was going well, until I went for a check up at the hospital. During my hospital visit, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was something that put my family and I in extreme shock and worry. In 2019, I went under surgery for both of my breast and now I’m undergoing chemotherapy and after the chemo is completed I will be going under radiotherapy. The radiotherepy will not be covered by the insuranse, I've been told that it will cost at minimum $20,000. I will be out of work for a year or even longer than this. I have a young son at the age of 15 who is going to school but my 21 year old is unable to continue his studies due to our financial struggles. His life has been put on hold. He is looking for a job at the moment. My spouse does not speak English and as a result does not have a good job. Everyone around me, including my doctors are telling me to be happy and live stress free but my circumstances are really upsetting my emotional well being. During the hardest times, I’m asking for from you giving, caring, kind people to help us out. If you help us, I will be grateful for the rest of my life.
