Tricia is currently in the hospital. She was diagnosed with preeclampsia with severe attributes and had to be airlifted out of Yuma to Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix.
On October 4th, Tricia went in for her monthly check up for her baby girl at 25 weeks and 5 days. During her appointment they took her blood pressure and quickly sent her to YRMC for monitoring. YRMC was unable to control her blood pressure, and so on October 5th, they made the decision to send her to Banner University Medical Center as they are more equipped to care for a micro-preemie baby.
The goal is to keep Tricia calm and closely monitored until she reaches 34 weeks of her pregnancy. At 34 weeks, Tricia will no longer have a choice and the doctors will be taking her baby girl by C-section. Tricia is on medication to control her blood pressure but we have been told that this can change in an instant. The doctors can only do that for so long and at some point Tricia’s body will go into distress and so will her baby girl’s.
Tricia is extremely grateful for her family and Donnie’s family. Our Mom has moved into the hospital with her to ensure she is not alone through this process. We are all pulling together to help Donnie take care of Vander and finishing their house in hopes of completing it before Tricia and Emma Grace get home.
Although she has our support and help with Vander, there is still the stress of being in the hospital for 8 weeks, along with Emma’s care in the NICU. Depending on when Emma is born it could be until her due date which is January 12th. We are extremely concerned with what the total cost of the hospital stays will be for both Tricia and Emma. Stress at this time is not a good thing for Tricia and Emma.
Please help us in anyway possible. We truly appreciate your support! Every donation is helpful. Thank you so much! We appreciate your prayers and support. Help us get Tricia to her goal of December 1st and bringing Emma Grace home as soon as possible!
