Please Help My Mom

In December of 2010 my Mom was dealt a devastating blow from her Neurologist with a diagnosis of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and also a rare neuro disease called Hashimoto's Encephalopathy. With both auto-immune diseases, she has gone from being a very active person to being bed-ridden in a short period of time. When she has to go to Dr. appointments she is in a wheelchair since she can no longer walk. My Mom has been researching conversion vans to help give her some independence (she can still drive if someone helps her load her manual wheelchair) but she can not go anywhere alone because she cannot get to the wheelchair that is in the trunk of the car. My Mom does have an electric wheelchair but it can only be used at the house because my Dad cannot lift it into the trunk with 3 back surgeries and rods in his back :(. If anyone has ever researched conversion vans you can pay 70k for one just because it is converted for a disabled person. The cheaper (and older) model conversion vans you will pay 30k plus for a van retailing at 12-14k. More than anything I would love to help give my Mom the quality of life and independence she deserves instead of the life she has being bed-ridden. The problem is, she is on disability and my Dad retired so their income is very limited. The dealership she is working with wants a sizeable down payment because they do not have a trade-in. My Mom is too humble to ask for help. If anyone can find it in your heart to bless my Mom with help you are truly an angel. No amount is too small to help my Mom have a better life that she never takes for granted. Thanks so much to all of you!
