Most of us go through our daily lives focused on our jobs, family, hobbies and don't think about the impact of life altering events. I have had the pleasure of working with a man who is a team player, puts others first and most described by those who know him well as "a great guy!"
Jeff found out several months ago that the impairment to his speech was the beginning stages of ALS commonly know as Lou Gehrig's disease.
Very recently I visited Jeff and although his body is getting weaker, his character and attitude are getting stronger. Make no mistake, Jeff and his family have daily struggles emotionally, spiritually and certainly financially. Let's step up and help he and his family with upcoming bills, costs for medications, hospital visits and expenses related to this progression!
