SAVING TOM & JERRY

Tom and Jerry were both sent to a boarding facility during the hurricane because Long County is an outside facility only. They could not be placed in a foster home due to unknown behavior and being scared. While in boarding Freedom Bridge Animal Rescue reached out to Kelly who does the boarding herself in her home and is a certified trainer. She believed these two boys deserved a chance, and could be rehabilitated and adopted out to forever homes! This training does not come cheap, but Kelly wanted to give them the best chance she could. She asked us to help them and offered her services at s deeply discounted price so that we could work with them and with her. They are now under our rescue and Kelly works with them on a daily basis. Trust does not come easy and does not come fast, and that is what both of these sweet boys need, just a chance to learn to trust again-to trust they will not be hurt or let down. Kelly is offering to board and train both of them for $500 a month which is a great deal for us. They will need to stay with Kelly for awhile. We really don't know how long yet. They will also need to be completely vetted and there are no funds covered to do this. These two deserve a better life! We want each to find a wonderful home to care and love them forever!
