Funds For Ferals

***DONATIONS NEEDED!!*** You may have seen our post on Tuesday about our largest TNR project to date. If you didn’t, here’s the tea: A local property that has been home to a colony of feral cats has been sold and scheduled for demolition this Tuesday the 8th of October. We were initially told that there are between 11 and 30 feral cats living in and around this home. After scoping out the property and wiring traps open to train the ferals to eat in them, we discovered there are many, many more cats than we ever anticipated. We are likely dealing with close to 100 feral cats that need to be relocated. This is a massive volunteer operation. Currently we have access to 29 humane traps that will go live Saturday night in preparation for our high volume spay/neuter clinic Sunday. Unfortunately, there are many more cats than that on the property. The more donations received, the more cats can be saved from potentially being part of the demolition happening Tuesday. We could use MANY more traps. Additionally, the more cats we trap, the more we will have to pay for their spay/neuters and vaccinations. IF YOU KNOW WHERE THIS LOCATION IS, DURING THIS TIME, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT NO OTHER FOOD IS OFFERED SO THAT THE CATS MUST DEPEND ON THE FOOD IN THE TRAPS.
