Financial Help During Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
One in eight women are diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. My mom is one in eight. She has undergone a bilateral mastectomy with lymph node removal (cancer had spread) and is working through her chemotherapy treatments.
She has had a difficult year, with a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in February and a cancer diagnosis on May 9th; four days after graduating from college, ready to embark on her new career. She has not been able to work through this process due to physical pain, inability to fully use her left arm, and a difficult time with chemotherapy (the first infusion put her in hospital for 6 days). She has persevered but still has a ways to go.
I want to thank all of those who feel led to give. I want to make sure that her and her partner are able to get through the rest of her treatment without the added financial stress and anxiety. They have done a spectacular job staying afloat, but resources are getting low. Every little bit helps and is very much appreciated!
