Help Save Huck! - Rattlesnake Bite

I never thought this would actually happen but Huck was bitten by a rattlesnake today . It’s been 5hrs since he’s been admitted to the hospital. At this point he’s in critical care. The anti-venom is not working just yet so he may have to undergo another round and a plasma transfusion. I will do anything to save him and unfortunately the vet bill is a fortune. I hate to ask for help but as with any accident /emergency situation, this is something I wasn’t prepared for - nor did I imagine it would cost this much! The first bill/deposit was $2800 for 24hr care tonight, CPR, IV fluids, Antivenom, pain meds, sedation, list goes on....Everything is being closely monitored and I will post updates as they come but the vet is predicting another night and more treatments so it will be substantially more. If anyone would like to donate toward half the bill to save Hucky I would be so so grateful and promise to pay it forward. This happened today in Palos Verdes (Del Cerro Park Hike on the cliff). Apparently Fall is baby rattlesnake season so they are EVERYWHERE including wide open trails. I would advise just going to dog parks until Nov/Dec just to be safe. It’s not worth the risk :-(
