Hello i am asking for blessings for my husband's grandmother Maria. She is 73 years old and is in dire need of getting a high risk surgery as soon as possible. We are the only family Maria has left after her husband and only son who is my husband's father passed away 5 years ago in a car accident. We recently moved closer to her but just last year we lost our home to a fire and things havent been so good for us either. We never had the money for her to get surgery but thankfully we found a Dr. Who will do her surgery for 50,000 pesos wich is about 2,300$. Shes currently living in Mexicali and cant come to the US. Maria was always stay at home wife and very happy with her family, she became sick a year after her husband and son passed. She was always sad and didnt didnt tell us she was sick and didnt know about the 60lb tumor she now has she kept it a secret for a long time until we found out about her situation last year. This is so horrible for her the tumor is keeping her from eating and making her lose weight so rapidly. We feel guilty for not being there for her and taking care of her when she needed us he most. Now were trying to get her the help asap because the liquid could go in to her lungs and heart and we dont want to lose her! Maria has mucinous cystadenoma. This type of tumor is benign and arises from the tissue that forms the outer layer of the ovary, called the epithelium. Maria has trouble walking, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, laying down and her legs and knees get swollen so bad she cant do much for herself. She started to notice pain and discomfort, about 3 1/2 years ago then frequent bathroom trips not eating as she supposed to, abdominal pain, bloated and kidney pain. She basically lives like this daily until we get her the help she needs by doing the surgery. It is high risk and we are just praying for a miracle if anyone can please help she deserves to live pain free and a healthy life to be with us and her great grandchildren.
