After careful thought and consideration Margie brought her precious husband home who has been diagnosed with stage (4) bone cancer. She has been working hard, with the help of her children, to make Dave comfortable. The physical toll of assisting Dave with all his needs because he is bedridden has become more than Margie can handle. She is also unable to walk and suffers from chronic pain. To list the accomplishments of our Dave would require too much time and probably more space than I am allotted. He is a Korean War Veteran, as a financial consultant he helped fund the Crystal Cathedral, he donated a kidney to his brother. I could go on and on. His greatest accomplishment by far is how well he’s loved us. All of us. His family and friends, anyone who has crossed his path has received wise counsel, understanding, acceptance, and unconditional love. He is the Papa to 15 grandkids and a Great Papa to 14 great grandkids, he’s a father to so many of us. Any assistance given will provide Margie the ability to use these remaining months with her husband as a time to love him as she has always done and reflect on the amazing life they’ve shared.
