Alison’s Birthday Fundraiser for METAVIVOR

For those of you not on Facebook, I have created this GoFundMe page to make it easier for everyone! For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to METAvivor Research and Support Inc. I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. My birthday fundraiser will be open until October 9th (my actual birthday is October 6th, when I can honestly say I’m PSYCHED about turning 43!!!) I've included information about METAvivor Research and Support Inc. below. METAvivor has four missions: 1) Award research grants for metastatic breast cancer; 2) support persons with metastatic breast cancer 3) provide education for those living or supporting someone with an MBC diagnosis and 4) promote awareness of metastatic breast cancer. Even better - 100% of the funds donated to METAVIVOR go towards these missions. HERE’S WHAT I’M GOING TO DO FOR YOU! If we make it to my goal ($10,000 - I’ve already raised $3500!), and I’d like to preface this by thanking my clients and company, SRS Real Estate Partners, for giving me the OK to do this... For every $20 donated, you will get one vote (for example, my leading donor, Peter Dempsey will get a WHOPPING 26 votes) to determine what color I will dye my hair. To give you more incentive, this means I’ll be at your mercy for what I’ll look like at my 20th reunion at Rhodes College, Thanksgiving, and the Holidays, where I’ll be spending my time with family and friends in Atlanta, to include my INCREDIBLY CONSERVATIVE Father, who ALWAYS has something to say about the color of my hair even when it’s my usual red. So, once we have a final count, I will send out a poll where you can choose from the following: **CRAZY Bright Red **Blue **Purple **JET Black **A rainbow of all of the above colors, plus I’ll throw in some green. I’ll also throw in a “keep it your normal color” vote for those of you who don’t want to torture me. However, I’m gonna go ahead and guess that there’s no way this group is going to let me off the hook that easy. Also, please share this fundraiser so your friends can get in on the fun!!!
