I am one of many friends who care about Casey and Rechelle. They are not the type to ask for help but I feel like there are enough of us out their that want to help, regardless.. so i am starting this fund. On Sunday casey woke up having a hard time breathing. He thought maybe he pulled something while he was sleeping. By Sunday night it was a lot worse and he was in a horrendous amount of pain. Rechelle took him to Enumclaw hospital. Prior to this for about a week and a half he was complaining about his ankle and foot hurting. After running several tests they found that he has several blood clots in both of his lungs. They than did an ultrasound of his leg and he also has a blood clot that runs from his foot to above his knee. They are still not sure why he is getting them and have ruled out the most common reasons. They have been transferred to St. Anthony’s hospital in gig harbor because they are better equipped to handle things of this severity and they have a pulmonary specialist on staff. As of right now they are trying to break the clots up with a high powered blood thinner that they give him in an IV. He is also on oxygen because he is having trouble breathing. They had originally thought that they would remove the clot in his leg surgically but I guess that can also be dangerous. The last update received stated that Casey is on IV blood thinners for 5 days and then a therapeutic level pill from that point forward. Because of the clots in his lungs, he isn’t getting enough oxygen and needing to be on O2 24/7 until it improves. They hope the blood thinners will allow the clots to dissolve but I am hearing that there are actually more forming today. It sounds like this may be a long road to recovery and Casey, Rechelle and the kids need our prayers and support. If this fund can help with Medical bills & loss of wages/tips..
