Hi everyone, our dear friend Bronwyn Hawkins sadly passed away at Nepean hospital on Tues 3rd September 2019 at 4pm. Bronwyn was found very distressed at her home on Saturday 10th August and was taken straight to hospital. After having CT scans and an MRI, Bron was diagnosed with cancer in her lungs, brain and liver. After the biopsy was done, they found it was a very aggressive cancer and it was taking over her body at a rapid speed. She was bedridden, and moving was a big effort and very painful for her. She was in alot of pain, so continuous pain relief was her only option. The sad thing was, as everything happened so fast, we never got the chance to talk about where she was financially. Bron was on unemployment benefits. So money was tight for her, only being for rent and food. As Bronwyn was unable to afford a funeral fund and she had no living relatives, our hope is if anyone can help us raise money for her cremation expenses, as we need to lay her to rest. I just want to thank everyone in advance for all your help and being apart of Bron's life.
