Get Dutchess Help

**EDIT: yes I know she is 20 years old. we are not delusional about that. our first plan is to help her since the vet never made any mention of killing her. our second plan is to put her to sleep if that is what needs to happen. either way our goal is to keep her from dying slowly and painfully. whether you vote to kill her or save her, the donations will be going to that since both things cost money that we do not have. either way she is suffering needlessly.** My cat, Dutchess is needing help. A few days ago we noticed that suddenly her face was so swollen her eye was almost shut. She had also been throwing up at least once a day for a week. We thought she was having stomach problems because she is 20 years old. But when we saw her swollen face we rushed her to the vet. It turns out that she has a highly infected abscess on her back molar and has developed a pocket of infection that needs to be drained. The vet said that this pocket can rupture out of her face at any time. She will likely need her molar removed, but definitely needs the infection drained. This can cost up to a little over $2,000. However, the vet does not do payment plans and Care Credit is not an option. We cannot pay this because we are all out of a job and have had trouble finding employment. We have called around to find assistance to get her help but due to her age and lack of employment we have very few options. She is really not feeling well, and she does not have a lot of time. Her face can quite frankly explode with infection and she can die in pain. There is no guarantee that she will qualify for the surgery she needs anyway, but we can't even see if she does because just for that exam it's more than we can afford. This money will either go to helping her, or quite frankly burying her. She needs whatever help we can get her NOW. I dont like asking people for charity but I grew up with her and this is weighing heavily on all of us, but especially Dutchess.
